Every day we will be posting a different picture of the universe. It may be of a galaxy or nebula, or it could be something much closer in our own Solar System. If it perks your interest in astronomy then read some of my articles on astronomy. Some sections are especially for those new to the hobby.

An image of the ‘The Pillars of Creation’ nebula taken by the Hubble Space Telescope on the 1st April 1995. It depicts ‘elephant tusks’ of gas and dust. The brighter areas a lit by stars embedded within the nebula. The Pillars of Creation are located in the Eagle Nebula in the constellation of Serpens. It is located some 6500 to 7000 light years from Earth. It is considered one of the most iconic pictures taken by Hubble Telescope.
